Maree TaylorIn-Training Support
Maree has been working with Apprenticeships Matter for 2 years, starting out in our Recruitment team placing job seekers into an apprenticeship or traineeship to now working as part of the In-Training Support team. Maree is passionate about what she does and provides apprentices with referrals to support services, advice on workplace expectations and offers guidance to apprentices when dealing with their TAFE/Training organisation. Maree has held many managerial positions and gained a lot of experience working as a Relationship Manager for a Registered Training Organisation. Maree has also recently completed her Mental Health First Aid certificate.
Rachael BloomIn-Training Support
Rachel has extensive experience in mentoring, support and counselling as well as experience in training and assessment in the VET sector plus over 10 years in customer service and retail management. Rachel holds an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy and Counselling, Certificate IV in Business Management and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Rachel has been working with Apprenticeships Matter since March 2018 and with her extensive knowledge and skills has already made a positive impact on many of our apprentices.
Rachel PhillipsonIn-Training Support
Rachel joined our team at the start of 2018 and brought 15 years’ industry experience with her. Rachel has worked in Group Training, Employment Services and more recently as an Apprentice Mentor, dealing and supporting apprentices with various issues that may impact on their employment and training. Rachel holds a Diploma of Business (Human Resources) and is currently studying Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety. Rachel loves spending time with her family, attending music gigs and follows the Melbourne Demons and Melbourne Storm teams.
Sarah RussellIn-Training Support
Sarah was born in the UK and spent 10 years working in Finance and HR before owing her own business. In 2006 her family moved to Australia where she spent her first couple of years working in the hospitality industry before making her to move to the VET sector. In 2009 Sarah joined Apprenticeships Matter as an In-training Support Consultant and has continued growing in this role, mentoring and supporting both employers and apprentices to ensure successful completions. Outside of work, Sarah loves reading and doing Karate.
Tonia ShorttIn-Training Support
Tonia has been working in the Education and Training industry for 11 years, the past 7 years with Apprenticeships Matter. Prior to Tonia joining our team she worked with a Registered Training Organisation. Tonia has completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as Certificate III in Business. In her spare time, Tonia enjoys renovating, maybe one day we might see her on The Block!
